With the Google Tasks integration, you can now see and manage your Upwave tasks from Google Tasks.

(Note that the Google account you choose to sync with does not need to be the same as your Upwave login. This means that even if you are logged in with a Microsoft account, for instance, you can still benefit from the integration.)

What gets synced?

When the integration is activated, an Upwave list is created in Google Tasks. All Upwave tasks and subtasks you are assigned to will be synced to this list.

From Upwave to Google Tasks:

All changes made to your assigned tasks and subtasks in Upwave will be synced with your Google Tasks every 5 minutes.

From Google Tasks to Upwave:

Change of due dates and completion of tasks and subtasks in Google Tasks and Google Calendar will be synced with Upwave.

Important: Any other changes made in Google Tasks (e.g., new tasks, task name changes, or deletions) will be reset during the next sync.

How to activate the integration

  • Click on the Integrate with Google Tasks button on the top right.

  • Google will prompt you to grant Upwave permission to access your Google Tasks. Choose the appropriate Google account and confirm.

You can also display your synced tasks in Google Calendar for easier visibility and scheduling.

Additional notes

The Google Tasks API does not support specific times, so all Google Tasks will by default be set to 09:00 AM on the day of the due date.
